Diony Lebot

Diony Lebot has been Chief Executive Officer for SG Americas since December 2007. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing Société Générale's activities in the United States, Canada and Latin America.

Lebot first joined Société Générale in 1986 and has spent most of her career in the bank's structured finance businesses. In 1997 she was appointed Deputy head of the Financial Engineering department (covering securitization, financial engineering and leasing) before being appointed Global Head of Asset Finance in 2001. She was appointed Head of European Coverage for the Corporates & Institutions division in September 2004 and became a member of Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking's Executive Committee at the end of 2006.

Lebot graduated from the University of Paris, and holds a DESS in Finance and Tax.

The University of Maryland has received a Jean Monnet grant from the EU to conduct a series of policy exchanges between Europe and the US on filling infrastructure needs and the utility of public/private partnerships as the financing mechanism.
